Apple Updates AirTag Security Safety User Guide After Reports of Suspicious Tracking Use in Possible Thefts

After quite a few reports of people being tracked by stalkers planting AirTags on their victims or possessions. Apple has updated its Safety Guidelines. Apple’s AirTags allow you to find your gizmos through Bluetooth proximity and tracking through GPS and Ultrawide networks worldwide. People have reported Apple’s slightly alarming notifications “AirTag Found Moving With You.”. AirTags are cheap to buy, and thieves could plant one of the devices on people or their cars or possessions hoping to track it and steal it later. Apple finally addressed it in the safety guideline update.

According to MacRumors, “When you see an “AirTag Found Moving With You” message, it means that the owner of the AirTag may be able to see the location of the AirTag on their Apple devices, and by proxy, your location. It’s important to address any alerts you receive right away for this reason.”
