The bad guys are targeting communities impacted by Coronavirus with ongoing phishing and spear phishing campaigns. KnowBe4 users should see our current events templates for the latest. To help our customers deal with Coronavirus related phish were moving templates as follows:
This Friday March 27, at 9 a.m. Eastern, we will add two new categories of email templates related to Coronavirus/COVID-19. At this time, we will move all of our existing Coronavirus-related items to these new categories.
The names and descriptions of the new categories are below:
This category will include a variety of phishing emails related to Coronavirus or COVID-19. This assortment will include copies of real Coronavirus phishing emails as well as original phishing emails designed by the KnowBe4 team. All of the templates will directly or indirectly relate to the current pandemic. Examples of templates that are “indirectly” related to the current pandemic would be meeting invitations, documents sent for digital signature, shipping notifications, emails related to telemedicine, and more.
NOTE: ALL Coronavirus or COVID-19 templates that currently exist in other categories will be moved to this new Coronavirus-specific category on Friday March 27 at 9 a.m.
