Free Tools Update! User Comments for the Phish Alert Button

We are excited to announce the availability of KnowBe4’s enhanced Phish Alert Button (PAB) for Microsoft 365 with the new User Comments feature!

KnowBe4’s complimentary Phish Alert Button gives your users a safe way to report suspicious emails and empowers your employees to take an active role in managing the problem of phishing and other types of malicious emails.

With this new version of the PAB, you can now enable your users to provide additional information when they report suspicious emails to your incident response (IR) team. The new feedback option gives your IR team more details to help them identify, analyze and prioritize user-reported messages even faster.

PAB Comments Feature

How the User Comments Feature for PAB works:

When your users click the PAB to report a message, a pop-up window will appear where they can choose whether the message should be Phish, Spam or Unknown.

  • Phish: Emails sent by cybercriminals to entice users to click on a link or give up personal or sensitive information
  • Spam: Emails that are typically sent from companies trying to sell your users a product or service
  • Unknown: Your users can select this option when they are unsure whether an email is clean and legitimate, a potential threat or spam
